I am a macroeconomist working on entrepreneurship, credit, and labor market issues. I have written papers on entrepreneurial risk and legal form of business, the impact of demographic trends and capital on labor's share of income. In addition, I have written papers on international capital flows, and trends in wages and family structure.
Presently, the Director of the Heterogeneity Laboratory at the Bank of Canada; formerly, an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Ontario.
